Implementation of projects co-financed from European Funds

16 December 2021

3Soft S.A. is implementing the project called “SupplAI system that automates and optimises supply chain planning, using computational intelligence methods – including sales forecasting – for online analysis of very large data sets allowing companies in the retail industry to reduce waste and increase efficiency”, under the Intelligent Development Programme (Sub-measure 1.1.1 Industrial research and development works carried out by enterprises).

The SupplAI project aims to develop a system that automates and optimises a group of business processes related to supply chain planning. The system is designed for large and medium-sized distribution networks conducting business through multiple sales channels. These networks have a hierarchical structure of distribution points (distribution centres, warehouses, stores), while planning the flow and demand of goods in each distribution point of the network is one of the key tasks affecting the efficiency of the entire organisation. The main area of the system is to improve the efficiency of processes: integration of sales channels (online, offline), business monitoring (KPI – Key Performance Indicators), strategic planning (ordering goods to warehouses based on demand and sales forecasts at all organisational levels), return forecasting, monitoring and detecting global (concerning a group of points of sale – e.g. area, but also market trends – e.g. product reviews) and local trends in sales changes.

Value of the project: PLN 6,985,462.42
Value of EU co-financing: PLN 4,996,273.03
Implementation period: 2021 – 2023

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Programme. The project is being implemented under the competition held by the National Centre for Research and Development: Fast Track.

3Soft Spółka Akcyjna implemented a project co-financed by European Funds entitled “Decision Support and Knowledge Management System for the Retail Trade Industry (DSS-RETAIL)”.

The aim of the project was to create a decision-making support and expert knowledge management system for business processes in the retail industry. The point of contact between these processes are sales forecasting models as key components affecting both the planning of goods distribution and the purchasing policy (quantity of goods, price, etc.) applied by companies operating in the retail industry.

Value of the project: PLN 4 055 326.47
Value of EU co-financing: PLN 3 216 478.82
Implementation period: 2018-2020

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Program. The project is being implemented within the framework of the National Centre for Research and Development Fast Path competition.
