20 November 20243 Soft S.A, Tetetka Sp. z o.o. and Bluemed Clinic Sp. z o.o. are the winners of the fifth edition of the Katowizje competition! The Katowizje project selects CSR (corporate social responsibility) leaders among local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. The awarded companies create and implement tools and solutions to serve local communities and the environment.
Corporate social responsibility is no longer a trend, but an obligation for micro, small and medium-sized companies. In Katowice, there is no shortage of companies that join in such activities. For several years we have been awarding them with the title of socially responsible company. The Katowizje competition shows that you don’t need huge budgets at all to implement socially responsible activities in business. As a city, we appreciate such activities.
– says Marcin Krupa, Mayor of Katowice
I congratulate all the companies entered in the competition, but special words of appreciation go to the winners whose projects have the greatest impact on our city.
– the mayor added.
As part of the fifth edition of the “Katowizje – a socially responsible company” competition, entries could be made by companies themselves, but also by NGOs and residents. This edition included projects implemented in 2024. There were 14 entries, and the awards were presented on November 19, 2024, during the conference “CSR not only for the big ones” organized at the Rawa.Ink Municipal Business Incubator in Katowice, during the World Entrepreneurship Week.
The best projects that create space and conditions for sustainable social and economic development were selected from among those submitted to the competition. The jury, which included representatives of local non-governmental organizations and Katowice City Hall employees in charge of social projects and entrepreneurship, decided to award three projects with a financial prize from Katowice Mayor Marcin Krupa and the title of Socially Responsible Company.

This is a very important distinction for us. Of course, on the one hand, every company needs to make money, but on the other hand, when conducting our business, we remember that we function in a certain community. This also applies to relations with our employees. Socially responsible activities allow us to gain additional motivation and energy for ongoing activities by supporting various local communities
– said Michal Krzesiak, CEO of 3 Soft S.A.

It is always worthwhile to help, and business has great tools for this, which it should not be afraid to use for the benefit of society and itself. The organization of competitions promoting socially responsible entities is highly advisable, as it contributes to distinguishing companies that have decided to practice this kind of strategy, these activities benefit both the community and the companies themselves. Thanks to such initiatives, a positive business image is built, others are encouraged to make positive changes, to help, talents are attracted, teaching and influencing society
